Emily Jo Loren Wood, age 34, went home to be with the Lord November 18th at her parents’ residence. Born in Hamilton, Ohio to Mary Lou and Ray Wood, she attended Community Christian School and was a graduate of HTR Christian School. She was chosen for and listed in WHO’S WHO AMONG AMERICAN HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS 1994/1995. Among her activities were church choir, drama, and caring for shut-in persons.
She attended Calvary Christian Center and later Solid Rock Church and was involved with the nursing home ministry.
Her progressive personal illnesses over the past few years brought activities away from her home to a close. She will be missed by friends from all over the country and her church family from the many churches with which she associated.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul and Marie Watson; brother, Terry Gentry; an aunt, uncle and cousin.
She is survived by her mother and father, extended family, and innumerable friends.
Visitation will be from 11am – 1pm with services at 1pm at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home on Millville Ave. in Hamilton, Ohio on Friday November25, 2011 with interment at Hickory Flat Cemetery.
