Judy Fern Howell, 67, Kokomo, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2014, at St. Vincent Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born September 9, 1947, in Peru, to Sam and Amanda (Bontrager) Miller. On March 6, 1976, she married Ronald Howell in Greentown, and he survives.

She worked at Delco for 30 years until her retirement in 1998 and was a member of Local UAW 292.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her parents; her children, Marvin (Jody) Howell, Greentown, Ronda (John) Malloy, Ellenton, Florida, Karen Herron, Kokomo, Kevin (Michelle) Howell, Fishers, and Troy Howell (Holly Miles), Indianapolis; grandchildren, Kenneth, Daniel, Jillian, Raynee, and Ashlee; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Don (Pam) Miller, Somerset, Kentucky; two sisters, Janet (Amos) Miller, Middlebury, and Cindy (Larry) Miller, Amboy; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with Pastor Lynn Coleman. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
