Jimmy Don “Bo” Lane, 69, of Blossom, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at his home. Bo, the son of Austin & Jessie Riggs Lane, was born Feb. 1, 1945, in Lamar County.
He was a heavy equipment operator, working many jobs for different companies under the Local Union 819 out of Ft. Worth. Bo enjoyed coon hunting, camping, trail rides and horses.
Survivors include his wife, Rita Himes Lane, whom he married on May 26, 1962, many extended family members including a brother-in-law, Dub Matlock of Blossom, numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Ricky Lane and Danny Lane, one brother, Bill Lane and three sisters, Margaret Forbis, Carol Smith and Pat Matlock.
Graveside services are at 1:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28th, at East Post Oak Cemetery with Rev. Daniel Hines & Rev. Buddy Hines.
