SALTVILLE, Va. Geneva F. "Sissy" DeBusk, age 82, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Va. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hank and Thelma Bordwine; husband, Frank DeBusk; son, Billy DeBusk; daughter, Diana Poore; and her brother, James Hansel "Buddy" Bordwine. Left here to miss her dearly a daughter, Brenda DeBusk and husband Steve; two sons, Hansel "Pedro" DeBusk and wife Cheryl, and James "Jimmy" DeBusk and wife Lori; sister, Mary Elizabeth DeBusk and husband Burton; 16 grandchildren; 21 great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Henderson Funeral Home with the Rev. Denny Mitchell officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Pleasant View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. prior to the service or at the home of Brenda DeBusk anytime. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
