On July 26, 1986 she was married to Jeffrey Schroeder in Frankentrost. In her younger years, Vicki was employed as a designer and floral artist at various flower shops in the Saginaw area for several years and enjoyed working as an aid at the Immanuel Lutheran School in Frankentrost, She was a homemaker and stay-at-home mom, raising her children and supporting her husband, working with him, as his Office Manager, at Invision Boatworks in Indiantown. Vicki had a given talent for painting pictures and playing the piano and organ. Her other hobbies included antiquing, traveling to garage sales and was an avid Reese High School Booster member. Vicki was a former member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Frankentrost and was currently a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Reese.
Surviving besides her husband Jeff and her parents Bill and Janet Wendland, are her children, Robert Schroeder, Logan Schroeder and Casey Schroeder, all of Saginaw; two sisters, Wendy LaClair and her husband Fred of Saginaw; Tammy Miller and her husband Timothy of Waterford; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, November 24, 2014 from the Trinity Lutheran Church in Reese. Reverend David E. Hakes will officiate with committal services to follow in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Vicki's family will receive friends at the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home, 9940 Saginaw St. in Reese on Sunday from 3-8 p.m., and at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the services.
