Marie Pilet Hoff, 70, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Herman Hoff; son, Steven Hoff; daughter-in-law, Sherri Hoff; daughter, Darlene Landaiche; son-in-law, Ron Landaiche III; daughter, Marlene Hoff; son, Brandon Hoff; daughter-in-law, Eileen Hoff; four grandchildren, Brandon, Ian, Michael and Beaux; brother, Jerry Pilet; and sisters, Peggy Campo and Brenda Wagner. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester William and Marie Gerdes Pilet; and brothers, Lester, John and James Pilet. She grew up in New Orleans and graduated from Francis T. Nicholls High School. She worked for Martin Marietta/Lockheed Martin for 30 years, living in New Orleans and Slidell. After retirement, she spent much of her time with her family in Hammond and Baton Rouge. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Thursday, July 30, from noon until a Catholic service at 2 p.m. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Park, 1710 S. Range Ave., Denham Springs.
