ANDERSON - Frank Hunter Farmer, Jr, age 51, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2012.
Born March 2, 1960, in Anderson, he was a son of the late Frank Hunter Farmer, Sr. and Lula Orr Farmer.
Frank graduated the McCallie School in Chattanooga, TN, attended Mercer University as well as Sierra Nevada College, and graduated Clemson University. He was employed by AECom in Greenville as a geologist. Frank was a member of the Harvest Moon Folk Society and was a supporter of Save Our Saluda.
Survivors include two sons, Frank Hunter Farmer III and Rivers MacMillan Farmer, both of Greenville, SC; sister, Helen Humphreys Farmer of Anderson; and brother, Marshall Orr Farmer and wife, Julia Cole Farmer.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, February 9, 2012, at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 1002 South Main Street, Greenville, SC, celebrated by The Revd Trey Garland.
