Death Notice, The Ithaca (NY) Journal, 14 Jul 1920:
William E. Brewer, 64, died at 10:30 o’clock this morning at his home, 430 North Geneva street. He leaves his wife, as son, Fred Brewer, of Milwaukee; two daughters, Mrs. Howard Rappleye and Miss Laura Brewer of Ithaca; a brother, Henry Brewer, of Milwaukee; and a sister, Mrs. Nettie Brookman, of this city. Mr. Brewer was a member of the Knights of Pythias, and the funeral will be in charge of that organization.
The funeral will be held at the residence at 3 o’clock Friday [16 Jul 1920] afternoon. Rev. John D. W. Fetter will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
