Betty A. Murphy, 56, of 1093 11th St., Marion, died of cancer Tuesday evening in her home.
Born March 31, 1931, at Sac City, she was employed by Wilson's for 17 years, retiring in 1980. Mrs. Murphy was a member of United Food and Commercial Workers AFL-CIO Local P-3, Mercy Volunteers and First Baptist Church, Marion.
Survivors include four sons; her mother, Zelma Eernisse of Cedar Rapids; and five grandchidlren.
Services: Memorial, 2:30 p.m. today, First Baptist Church, Marion, by the Rev. William Hendricks. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion. There will be no visitation. A memorial fund has been established. Cedar Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
