Born Feb. 21, 1926, in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of Verna I. Bishop Rosenberry of Shippensburg and the late George F. Rosenberry.
She was a member of Messiah United Methodist Church, Shippensburg.
A 1944 graduate of Chambersburg High School, she was a member of Cumberland Valley Hose Company and the Ladies Auxiliary of Durff-Kuhn Post 6168 Veterans of Foreign Wars, both in Shippensburg.
In addition to her mother, surviving are a son, Todd L. Sherman of Shippensburg; two grandchildren, Tyler L. and Ashley L. Sherman, both of Shippensburg; and a companion, George W. Rosenberry of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Sherman, who died Jan. 12, 1988.
