Mr. Michael Lewis Ledbetter, Sr., age 69, of Livingston will be conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday November 26, 2014 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston. Burial will be in the Good Hope Cemetery in Livingston where there will be a military service provided by the Honor Guard from the James T. Davis Memorial Post 5062 of the VFW in Livingston. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. and 12 noon until time of service at 2 p.m. on Wednesday.

Mr. Ledbetter passed away at home on November 24, 2014. He was born September 12, 1945 in Overton County to Archie and Vella Maynord Ledbetter. He was employed with the maintenance department at Standing Stone State Park.

He was a member of First Baptist Church in Livingston and a veteran who served in the U.S. Navy for 21 years.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Ledbetter of Livingston; son, Michael Lewis Ledbetter, Jr. of Livingston; daughter, Marsha Wyatt of Rickman; his mother, Vella Ledbetter of Livingston; 2 sisters, Carol Coleman & husband, Johnny Fred of Livingston and Sue Cassetty & husband, Steve of Whitleyville, TN; step-son, Bradley Gore of Algood; 2 grandchildren, Aiden & Ashlyn Wyatt and step-grandchild, Makiyah Gore.

He is preceded in death by is father: Archie Ledbetter and mother of his children: Barbara Bull.

Active pallbearers to serve are Jerry Carr, Doug and Russ Maynord, Kelly Coleman, Al Seitner, Nim Lacy, Billy Maxwell, and Robert Hester. Honorary pallbearers are Overton Restaurant Gang, 111 Hog Members, Steve Cassetty, Johnny Fred Coleman, Jerry Swan, and Danny Norris
