Rudolph A. Lane, 82, of Marked Tree, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2014 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.

He was born March 24, 1932 in Twist to Lonnie and Bertha Robinson Lane.

He was a member of the Marked Tree First Baptist Church.

Rudolph was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Carolyn McDaniel; and two brothers, Carroll Lane and Rufus Lane.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Elsie A. Lane; a son, Danny Lane of Marked Tree; four daughters, Vicki Frans, Beverly Martin and Pam Branton all of Marked Tree, and Rhonda Boyer of Jonesboro; six grandchildren, Darrell Martin, Brian Lane, Jason Lane, James Frans, Kasey Dunavant, and Jessica Perry; six great grandchildren; and three sisters, Joy McCollum, Juanita White and Reba Scott all of Marked Tree.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm Tuesday at the Marked Tree First Baptist Church.

Church services will be 11 am Wednesday at the Marked Tree First Baptist Church with Breck Freeman and Andy Price officiating. Burial will follow at the Marked Tree Cemetery.

Lasting memorials can be made to the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, 1148 E. Matthews, Jonesboro AR 72401.
