Captain Charles M. LeFlore was born July 1841 in Doaksville, Towson County, Apukshunubbe District. He was the son of Forbis LeFlore and Rebecca Fisher. He married Mary Angeline Guy about 1856 at Boggy Depot, Atoka County, Pushmataha District. Mary Angeline Guy born December 13, 1836 at Boggy Depot - died December 15, 1883 at Limestone Gap. He later married Lousia Frances "Lu" Patrick. Lu was born Livingston, Colorado.

The funeral of Capt. Jack Leflore, whose death occured last week at Denison, Texas, was held at Limestone Gap, Sunday and was attended by a great concourse of sorrowing friends from all sections of Eastern Oklahoma. Rev. W. P. Donnell, of Kiowa, and Rev. A. B. Johnson of this city, conducted the funeral services. Besides Mr. and Mrs. Walter A. Evans, near relatives of Capt. Leflore, a large number of citizens from McAlester Attended the funeral.
