Burnard McGehee, 84, a resident of 107 Jamaica, Long Beach, died Monday night [early Monday morning] following an extended illness.

Mr. McGehee was a former resident of McComb and had resided on the Coast since 1967. He was a 32nd degree Mason and past grand master of the McComb Lodge.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Elma Nunnery McGehee; nine children, including a son, James McGehee, and a daughter, Mrs. Robert F. Young, both of Long Beach; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday from Catchings Funeral Home in McComb. Interment will be in Hollywood Cemetery there. Riemann's Funeral Home in Gulfport was in charge of local arrangements.
