Age 91, died Saturday at Agrace Hospice Center after a brief illness. He was born in Mt. Horeb to Iver and Anna (Berliot) Overland. Norman served in the 4th Marine Division during World War II earning two purple hearts. In 1946 he married Hattie Scheidegger and lived in the Pine Bluff and later Fitchburg area. He retired from Oscar Meyers with 33 years of service and liked to stay active, enjoying good health almost to the end. He was preceded in death by his wife Hattie, son Brian, great grandson Liam Teggatz, two brothers; Amos and Olen, two sisters; Edith Jeremaison and Margaret Mickelson, three nephews; Ever Jeremaison, Edward Raisbeck, and Maynard Mickelson, niece Karen Handel.
