He was born May 18, 1943 in Pana, IL, the son of the late Lee Ora & Grace Mize Stanberry. He lived in Pana his entire life and retired from CAT. He was a member of Pana Eagles and Bible Baptist Church. He enjoyed bingo and karaoke.
Lee married Pennie M. Radford on February 14, 2012 in Taylorville.
He is survived by his wife: Pennie Stanberry, Pana; children: Tony Stanberry, Pana; Curtis Stanberry & wife Tamara, Nokomis; Rhonda Ellis & husband Dave, Vandalia; Danny Stanberry & significant other, Samantha, Decatur; step sons: Chad Spindel & significant other Noelle, San Diego, CA; Joshua Spindel & wife Stacie, Pana; several grandchildren & great grandchildren; brothers: Kenneth Stanberry & wife Jennie, Hammond, IL; John Stanberry & wife Linda, Karnak, IL; and by his sister: Carolyn Sego, Mattoon, IL.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 26, 2014 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Leon Goff officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.
