"F.W. Cromwell
Former Resident Died Suddenly
Frank Wellington Cromwell, well known former resident of Kenora passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 24, 1966 at his summer cottage, Nutimik Lake, Manitoba. He was a resident of 182 Baltimore Road, Winnipeg and was 76 years of age.

Born in Hamburg, Ontario Mr. Cromwell spent his early years in Akron, Ohio, returning to Canada at the age of 26? He had been employed with the Canadian National Railroad for thirty years until his retirement in 1954. He served in World War I in France where he was wounded and subsequently volunteered for the Northern Expeditionary Force in Russia.

Mr. Cromwell was a member of the C.N.R. Veterans Club, the St. Alban's Men's Club, Fort Rouge Senior Citizens Club and the fort Rouge Legion.

Besides his wife he is survived by one sister, Mrs. O. Warder, of Winnipeg.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Gardiner Funeral Home, 178 Kennedy Street, Winnipeg, Archdeacon F.J. Boyd officiating, following which the remains will be forwarded to Kenora for funeral service at Brown's Funeral Home at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 26. Interment will be in the Lake of the Woods Cemetery. Pallbearers: Messrs J. Hanson, A. Beckworth, F. Poirier, Allen Hansen, A. Parfitt and Alex Gordon."
