Natalie Jewell Aylestock-Lawson, 90, of Sterling, VA, died Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Iliff Nursing Home, Dunn Loring, VA. Mrs. Lawson was born March 3, 1924 in Sago, Upshur County, WV to Parley Samuel and Nola Avis Gould-Aylestock. She most recently worked and retired from the CIA, where she worked in the gift shop. She was an active member of McLean Presbyterian Church for over 45 years, where she served as a deaconess and was also involved with the Ladies Group for many years.

She is survived by two sons, Gary Wayne Lawson and Roger Lee Lawson, both of Ashburn, VA; a sister, Anna Mae Young of Stephen’s City, VA; three brothers, Carl Aylestock of Clarksburg, WV, Woodford Aylestock of Buckhannon, WV, and Harold Aylestock of Berryville, VA; three grandchildren, Geoffrey Robert Lawson of New Haven, CT, Sandra Elizabeth Hoover, wife of Ryan Keith Hoover, of Ashburn, VA, and Cordell Lee Sagan-Lawson of Pleasanton, CA; and one great-granddaughter, Coraline Reese Hoover. She is preceded in death by daughter Sandra Kay Lawson; four sisters, Mabel Newcome, Lavaun Bourne, Lorene Tomblyn, and Phyllis Ervin; and six brothers, Hartsel, Glenn, Edwin, Russell, Lloyd, and John Thomas Aylestock.

Burial will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, VA, followed by a Memorial service at 11:30 AM, at Church of the Epiphany – Anglican, 13515 Technology Drive, Herndon, VA.
