Dana Claire Phillips, age 77, of Hayden, Alabama passed away at Trinity Medical Center in Birmingham on November 20, 2014. Mrs. Phillips was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hayden. She enjoyed cooking, baking cakes, and taking care of others.
Mrs. Phillips is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Zora Higginbotham and her brother, Johnny Higginbotham.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Phillips; her sons, Donald Phillips, Jr. (Melisa) and Scott Phillips; her daughter, Carol Shirley (Hilton); her sisters, Peggy Hill (Charles) and Edna Brasher (Russ); her five grandchildren; her four great-grandchildren and a nest of nieces and nephews.
