Vera Louise Horn, age 84, of Riverside California, formerly of Lead Hill, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2014 in Orange California.

She was born January 29, 1930 in Keensburg, Illinois to the late Allie and Cordelia (Brown) Poole. She had been employed as a shipping clerk for Marion County Shirt Factory for twenty years. She moved to the area from Louisiana in 1977, and later moved to Riverside, California in 2012

Vera is survived by her son, Will Horn and his wife, Judy, of Parks, Louisiana; two daughters: Loucindy Bessey and her husband, Carl, of Riverside, California; and Tracy Cagle and her husband, Pate, of Lead Hill, Arkansas; one brother, Edmond Poole of Clarksville, Arkansas; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Horn, Jr.; two sons: Stanley and Michael;
and two sisters: Loretta Styles and Virginia Decker.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 am, Monday, December 1, 2014 at Peel Cemetery in Peel, Arkansas with Bro. Carroll Johnson officiating.
