Peoria, IL - Linda L. Prescott, 66, of Peoria passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014, at her residence in Peoria after a short but courageous battle with lung cancer and leukemia.
She was born on June 9th, 1948, in Peoria, Ill., to George Benjamin and Norma L. (Clark) Conett. They preceded her in death. She married A.J. (Arthur) Prescott on June 23, 1973, in Peoria, Ill. They spent 41 beautiful years as soul mates. He survives.
Also surviving are two sisters, Francine (Loni) Spay of Columbia, Mo., and Connie Rogers of East Peoria; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Norma (Clark) Conett; brother, Gary Conett; and her beautiful daughter, Stephanie.
Linda was an avid reader, loved fishing, gardening, sewing and loved spending time with her loving husband, A.J. Linda also loved spending time with her beautiful golden retrievers, Dudley and Lucy.
Linda was a graduate of Peoria High, class of 1966.
She was a bartender at The Fish House in Peoria for 38 years and recently retired from a long dedicated career.
