Doris died on Thursday November 21, 2014 at the New Richland Care Center where she had been a resident for the past 5 years. She was 94.
She was born on July 15, 1920 in Monterey the daughter of Henry and Bessie (Perrine) Volsen. Doris married Robert P. Breid on March 9, 1945 in Waldena. In 1948 they moved and made new Richland their home.
Doris was a member of the Ellendale Assembly of God Church. She was a wonderful gardener and enjoyed doing crafts.
Survivors include her husband, 2 daughters, 2 grandsons, 2 great grandchildren, one brother and many brothers and sisters-in-law. Also many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Donald Volsen, and sister Lois Korfe.
Doris was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and made our house a home.
