Thomas Joseph Canfield was born on August 30, 1892 in Tennessee, the son of George Miller Canfield Sr (1854-1912) and and his wife Louisa Alice (Dietch/Desch) Canfield (1856-1935).
He worked in an automobile shop and was living at 1407 Jakes Avenue, Nashville. He was married and 34 years old when he died at home of sarcoma of the larynx on May 30, 1927. Burial was on June 1st in Spring Hill Cemetery.
