Leslie M. Pickett, born on November 19, 1927 in Plain Dealing, LA went to be with the Lord on November 29, 2007 in San Antonio, TX.
He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. Leslie was employed with Southwestern Bell for 38 years, retiring in 1988.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucien Kelly Pickett and Ida Mae Anderson Pickett; his son, Edwin Pickett; sister, Nell Baker; brothers, Lonnie Karl Pickett and Harold Milton Pickett.
Leslie is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Jimmie Sue Pickett; daughter, Mary McKim; sons, Richard Pickett (Leslie Anne), Ted Pickett, Steve Pickett; brother, Walter Pickett (Elaine); grandchildren, Melissa McKim and Robin Leamer.

Visitation will be held on Sunday-December 2, 2007 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North.
