She loved her Lord and was an active member of First Baptist Church St Francisville since 1956, where she served wherever needed.
She dedicated 40 years to the public school system, serving as both a teacher and guidance counselor. She touched many lives as she cared deeply for every student who passed through the halls of the school.
She was very involved with the West Feliciana Historical Society, and served on the board of Friends of Rosedown and Angola Museum. After retiring from the school system, she founded St. Francisville Tours, and enjoyed introducing people from around the world to the parish she loved.
Visitation will be at the St. Francisville First Baptist Church, funeral services, conducted by Rev. Joel Williams. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
She will be dearly missed by her husband of 66 years, Wendell Hall; one daughter, Amy Daigle and her husband Carl of Paulina, LA; two sons, Wendell Hall Jr. of St. Francisville, Shannon Hall and his wife Melissa of St. Francisville;
seven grandchildren: Catherine Hall Wilson, Barrett Hall, Madelyn Hall, Andrew Hall, Blaine Daigle, Caitlyn Daigle, Karly Daigle;
three great-grandchildren: Beckett Wilson, Hansford Wilson, and Garner Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Amy Shannon and her brother, H. G. Shannon.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Hall, Carl Daigle, Andrew Hall, Wendell Hall, Blaine Daigle, and Blane Wilson.
