He was born Dec. 31,1944 in Monticello, KY and was the son of the late Willard and Bonnie (Morris) Eaton.
He retired in 2001 from Chrysler Corp after 33 years of service. He enjoyed whittling, gardening, bird watching, collecting guns, tinkering around and fixing things.
Don is survived by; five children, Donald Eaton, Jr. of Kokomo, Tim Eaton of Wapakoneta, OH, Kenny Eaton of Nappanee, Chris Eaton of New Castle, and Aimee Eaton of Cridersville, OH; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Phyllis (Gary) Troxell of Mooreland and Carolyn (Fred) Groce of Kennard; his companion, Theresa Agee of New Castle; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Eaton in 1968.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday Nov. 25th at 1 p.m. at Hacker-Main and Davis Funeral Homes, Broad Street Chapel, New Castle with Rev. Tony Piper officiating. Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery.
