Marsha Ann Horton, 49, formerly of Wilkes County, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, in Georgia. She was born Aug. 10, 1965, in Wilkes to James Avery and Martha Louise Hendren Billings.
She loved spending time with her online friends, listening to music, reading, and, of course, shopping.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Monica Ann Horton, a brother; James Richard Billings, and a niece, Megan Grace Eller.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Melissa Billings Eller and husband, Gary Thomas Eller, of Hickory; a nephew, Grayson Eller, and a niece, Marissa Eller, both of Hickory.
A visitation will be held for Marsha on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church on Brushy Mountain Road in Wilkesboro. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. at the church.
