Irene had lived in Pryor for about the last 45 years.
She was a homemaker and was married to James Melvin Wallace; he preceded her in death on October 7, 2012.
Irene was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church and her church was a very important part of her life.
She enjoyed gardening, canning and traveling and getting to spend time with her family.
Irene is survived by son Carl Wallace of Pryor, daughter Sylvia Bush of Pryor, grandchildren Harley, Debbie, Gayle, Karen, Melissa, Tim, Pamela, Diana, Steve and Deanna, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, two sisters Ruby Woodard of Pawnee and Dorthea Barker of Westville.
In addition to her husband, Irene was preceded in death by her parents, six siblings and one granddaughter.
