MARGARET LOUISE PARKER age 83 of Trion passed away Saturday November 22, 2014 at her residence after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Parker was born April 03, 1931 in Topeka, Kansas and moved to Georgia with her husband and young family in 1961.

Preceded in death by her husband Rev. Luther L. Parker, parents Lee Edward and Mabel Cox Turman, sisters Juanita Broadbent, Naomi Lister, Leota Carrier, Ethel (Bob) Lister, and Ruthie Turman, great-grandson, Jonathan Morris.

Mrs. Parker was a lifelong homemaker and an accomplished seamstress, was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, faithfully served alongside her husband as a pastor’s wife in numerous churches across Northwest Georgia. She will be greatly missed by all.

Survived by daughters and husband Lydia (LeRoy) Witt, Trion, Connie (Chris) Witt, Trion, sons and wives Melvin (Judy) Parker, Chickamauga, Ed (Regina) Parker, Trion, grandchildren Traci Morris, Debbie Brown, Derek (Ali) Parker, Ashlee (Kyle) Abernathy, Ali Witt, great grandchildren Dusty Brown, Cody Brown, Victoria Morris, Alexander Morris, Bryant Abernathy, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral from the Wallis Memorial Chapel Monday at 6:00 P. M. Service conducted by Mr. Derek Parker.

Pallbearers are Derek Parker, Dusty Brown, Cody Brown, Alexander Morris, Kyle Abernathy, and Cliff Cordle.

Honorary pallbearers are employees of Mount Berry Hospice, Jacob Chandler, Pat Kaylor, and Carolyn Williams.

Interment in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
