He was born Oct. 10, 1937, in Bellevue, the son of the late Francis and Frances (Kelly) Adams.
Ed was employed at Shell Oil, Evert Brothers Tire Shop and later at Central Soya. He was a 1955 graduate of Bellevue Senior High School.
He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, where he was a deacon and elder; Bellevue Kiwanis Club; Four County Young at Heart, where he served on the board; St. Paul’s dart ball team; and volunteered at Bellevue Fish & Loaves. Ed was an avid hunter and bowler.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Janice (Bush) Adams, whom he married June 14, 1958; son, Ed (Jeanine) Adams of Bellevue; daughter; Sherri (Gary) Denish of North Royalton; grandchildren, Pamela Denish, Lily Adams, Seth Adams; and his brother, Lloyd (Dee) Adams of King George, Va.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Rose Adams; and brother, Walter (Cecelia) Adams.
Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. A funeral service will be officiated by the Rev. Diane Carter at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 428 Kilbourne St., Bellevue. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
