Lt. Christopher James Hunter of Cinnaminson, N.J. died suddenly on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014 in the line of duty. He was 38.

He was a lifelong resident of Cinnaminson and graduated from Cinnaminson High School, Class of 1994. He received his associate degree from Mercer County College.

He was a 22-year member of the Cinnaminson Fire Dept. and the Fireman's Union.

He is survived by his wife, Claire (Vespa) Hunter; his son, Christopher Jr. 'CJ' and his daughter, Emma; his parents, James and Marion (Moyer) Hunter; his sister, Sheri Hunter; his nephew, Dylan Ritchie and many friends and fellow firemen.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects from 6 to 9 p.m., Thursday evening, and 9 to 11 a.m. Friday morning followed by his funeral service at the Cinnaminson Fire Station 201, 1725 Cinnaminson Ave., Cinnaminson, N.J. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, please make remembrances to the Hunter Children Fund c/o Cinnaminson Fire Station 201, 1725 Cinnaminson Ave., Cinnaminson, NJ 08077.
