ANDREW DYKSTRA
Andrew Dykstra, a bachelor, died at the home of his nephew, Gerrit Dykstra, east of Otley, some time during the early morning hours of Saturday, August 10 He was found dead in his bed by members of the family. He had retired Friday evening in apparent good health.
He was born on the farm two miles east of Otley on May 30th, 1869. His age was 71 years, two months and 11 days. He leaves to mourn his passing one brother, Levi Dykstra and one sister, Mrs. Gerrit Fennema, both of Pella, and a large number of relatives and friends. Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held at the home at 2:00 o'clock p.m Monday, August 12th, with the Reverend Van Houten in charge Interment was in Oakwood cemetery at Pella.
