Tony Boothe Sanders, 66, passed away on November 5, 2014. He was born in Saltville, VA, the son of the late Norval Lee and Mary Boothe Sanders. He was a United States Army veteran and later served in the National Guard.

Tony worked for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a boilermaker. He was an avid reader and Nascar fan.

Tony is survived by his wife of 29 years, Nancy Seawell Sanders; his daughter, Judy Sanders Marshall and husband, Hunter; his son, Tony Lee Sanders; his grandchildren, Leyda Marie Sanders, Nathaniel Hunter Marshall, Gavin Lee Marshall, and Jareth Norval Sanders; and his brothers, Norval Lee “Bo” Sanders, Jr., and wife, Debbie, Tim Sanders and wife, Tammy.

Tony's life was celebrated at a graveside memorial service with military honors on Monday, November 10, 2014, at Albert G. Horton, Jr., Memorial Veterans Cemetery, conducted by CDR Michael D. Halley, Chaplain Corps, U. S. Navy, Retired.
