He was born Feb. 9, 1921, in Danzig, N.D., to Theodore and Ida "Lammle" Pudwill. He married Jackie Brborich on Feb. 19, 1979, in Springfield. He was owner and operator of a road construction company, Pudwill Construction.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dennis and Walter; a daughter, Mary Hargrove; three stepsons, Milton Steinhauer, Donald Steinhauer and Brian Steinhauer; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
