Doug was a good man who dearly loved his family and will be sorely missed. He was a longtime faithful member of Faith Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon and a church elder. He was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Corps and served in the Pacific theatre.
Doug is preceded in death by his soul mate, his wife, Ersel Ross, siblings, Dr. James Ross and Paul Ross.
He is survived by his children, Mac Ross (Vickie Lynn), Julie Ross Scoskie and Lisa Collopy (John), grandchildren, Kristin, Justin, Charity, Chelsea, Zachary, Samuel and Evan and great-grandchildren, Jayden, Kami, Austin, Madison and Ethan.
A funeral service to celebrate Doug's life will be conducted at 2pm Monday, November 24, 2014 with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 2-6 pm Sunday, November 23, 2014.
