Mrs. Sabra E. Mann, 80, of Elizabeth City, died Wednesday afternoon at her home after an illness of two weeks.
Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at 4:00 in the First Methodist Church with Rev. Allen P. Brantley officiating. Burial was in Hollywood Cemetery.
Mrs. Mann was a native of Dare County, being the daughter of the late Avery and Penelope Ann Mann Tillett of Manns Harbor, and the widow of the late W.W. Mann.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John C. Evans of Manteo; one son, Sam N. Mann of Elizabeth City; four half-sisters: Mrs. A.C. Mann of Manteo, Mrs. Francis Jones of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. W.O. Barnett and Mrs. J.A. Tillett of Pasquotank County; four half-brothers: A.B. Tillett, Will Tillett and T.A. Tillet of Manns Harbor, and G.A. Tillett of Elizabeth City; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Among those attending the funeral from Manteo were Mrs. John C. Evans, Miss Ruth Evans and Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Basnight. Mrs. Evans had been at her mother's bedside sicne the beginning of her illness.
