Mr. Carl B. Dees, Jr., age 70, passed away April 1, 2013.
Born in Lancaster, S.C., Mr. Dees was a graduate from Fort Mill High School and Midlands Technical College, where he studied electronics. He worked as an Electronic Technician for many years in the nuclear field until his retirement in 2010. He was the son of Maggie Lou King Dees and the late Carl B. Dees Sr. of Fort Mill.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Wolfe Funeral Home in Fort Mill. The family will receive friends following the service.
Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Elizabeth “Libby” Edwards Dees; his mother, Maggie Lou King Dees; his brothers, William Edward “Ed” Dees, Bobby Mack Dees and Paul Douglas Dees; sisters-in-law, Pat Dees, Ruby Dees, Faye Dees and Mary E. Lewis Johnson; and brother-in-law, Neal Johnson. He also had many nieces and nephews.
