Vanessa Ileen Hill was born December 14, 1956, in Bay St. Louis, MS. The daughter of the late Moses Hill, Sr. and Ester Acker. She was raised in Kiln, MS where she passed away from this life peacefully on Wednesday morning, July 11, 2007 at home. Vanessa excepted Christ at an early age and was a life long member of the First Baptist Church of Kiln. She attended the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg and after college began working for Eckerd's Drugs, now know as CVS Pharmacy until her illness. A devoted mother and grand-mother, she leaves to mourn her passing, and cherish her memory, one daughter, Brandy Hill, Bay St, Louis, MS; her mother, Ester Acker; step-father, Louis Acker both of Kiln, MS; two sisters, Christine Harvey, Slidell, LA, Debra Acker, New Orleans, LA; two brothers, Kevin Hill, Sr., (Debra), Pearlington, MS and Moses Hill, Jr. (Shirley) Hattiesburg, MS; three grandchildren, Xavier Hill, Jaiye Daniels, Jr. and Alexis Hill - four nieces and four nephews along with many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Monday, July 16, 2007, First Baptist Church, Kiln, MS, with a one hour visitation prior to services. Interment: Church Cemetery.
