Bill L Harrison passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014, in Sugar Land , Texas. Mr. Harrison was born March 19, 1930 in Hastings, Oklahoma, to Paul Edward and Arlie ( Taylor ) Harrison.
He grew up in Hastings, Oklahoma and graduated high school from Harrah High School. He served our country in the US Navy, as an air traffic controller, on the gunner ship USS Pittsburgh CA-72. After his time in the Navy he married the love of his life, Ralphene Elliott. She preceded him in death on January 5, 2007. Bill served as a 32nd Degree Mason for over 50 years. He owned and operated Harrison’s Tire and Alignment in Lawton.
He is survived by his daughter; son; five grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
His wife, parents, and a son, Steven Joe Harrison, preceded him in death.
Funeral service for Bill Harrison, 84, former Lawton resident, will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 3, 2014, at Lawton Heights United Methodist Church with Rev. Darrel Maddox, pastor officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
