She was preceded in death by her husband: James Burton, Sr. parents: Sam and Cordie Gamblin.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law: James and Shirley Burton, Jr., of Loudon, daughters: Joyce Cumpston, of Houston, Texas, Geneva Burton, of Loudon, grandchildren: James Burton III, and wife: Sarah of, Loudon, Sarah Cumpston, of Texas, great-granddaughter: Aspen Burton, of Loudon, brother: Truman Gamblin, of Hermitage, Missouri, and sisters: Doris Frye, of Hermitage, Missouri, Betty Dryer, of Buffalo, Missouri, Evelyn Kaylor, of Phoenix, Arizona, several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday, November 24, 2014 from 10:00A.M. until 11:00A.M. at Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, followed by a graveside service and interment in the Sweetwater Memorial Park with Rev. Don Rockholt officiating. Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater is in charge of the arrangements.
