Henrietta E. Desch, 75, 709 Marian Drive, Coldwater, died March 26 at 5:25 a.m. at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater, due to complications. She had been ill for 10 weeks. She was born March 14, 1900 in Coldwater, the daughter of John B. and Catherine (Moeller) Albers. She married Girard P. Desch June 14, 1922 at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater. He survives along with 4 children; Donald, Coldwater; Fr. Paul, OFM Duns Scotus College, Detroit, Michigan; Mrs. James (Mary) Sowar, Coldwater; Joseph, LaCross, Wisconsin; 1 brother, Ray Albers, Dayton; 2 sisters, Mrs. Olivia smith, Laguna Hills, Calif.; Mrs. Frederica Bayless, West Lake, Ohio; and 15 grandchildren. 3 brothers and 1 sister are deceased. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Church, Rosary Altar sodality, 3rd Order of St. Francis, past President of the American Legion auxiliary, and a member of the Mercer County WW I Veterans auxiliary. The funeral mass will be 12 noon March 31 at the Holy Trinity Church with Father Paul Desch officiating. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth's cemetery. Friends may call at the new Hogenkamp funeral Home, 715 e. Main St., Coldwater after 1 p.m. Sunday.
