Patsy Ann Norman, 71, a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend was called to be with her Lord and Savior on November 16, 2014.

She was born March 24, 1943 in American Fork, Utah to parents Charley Andrew Hall and Laura Lucille Hall.

She was married to Burl Elton Dalgliesh in 1961 and they moved to Baker, Oregon where they had 4 wonderful children. They moved around a bit but finally settled in Winnemucca, NV where they divorced in 1975.

Pasty was working at Winner's Inn with her 2 oldest children when she met and married the love of her life John Norman and they have been happily married for the past 37 years. When they moved to Washington Patsy went to work at Drumman's Restaurant with her oldest son Homer and made many close relationships with everyone she worked with. Many of the employees still consider themselves family. After that she and John went into business for themselves opening Mom& Pops Deli, Patsy's Taxi and R&N Van Service with their daughter Laura.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and an Avon Representative. Everyone that knows Patsy knew her to be a warm-hearted soul full of laughter and life. You could always find her watching Young and the Restless or Wheel of Fortune, whipping up treats in the kitchen, or in the church library. She will be deeply missed and her spirit will live on through her family and friends.

Patsy was preceded in death by her son Burl Paul Dalgliesh, her parents, brothers William Rea Hall and Thomas Dudley Hall, brothers-in-law Robert Charles Shum and Douglas (Doug) DeRoest, and nephews Leland Sands and Rickie Allen DeRoest.

She is survived by her husband John Norman, children Laura Reyna, Homer Dalgliesh (Teresa), and Lynn Dalgliesh, step-daughters Tina Romo (Miguel) and Bonnie Vargas (Juan), siblings Teresia Mae Smith (Glen), John Charles Hall, Robert Andrew Hall, Betty Lucille Norris (Gene), Lois Jean DeRoest, Jimmy Lee Hall, and Donna Kay Ward (Robert), and her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Patsy will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1122 McGargile Rd. Sedro Woolley, WA 98284, at 1pm November 22, 2014.

In lieu of flowers we ask that a donation be made to the Skagit Valley Kidney Center in honor of Patsy.
