Cheryl Lynn Dawson, 59, of Mattoon, Ill. formerly of Marshall, Ill. and West Union, Ill. passed away Monday evening in the emergency room at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center at Mattoon, Ill.
She was born Sept. 2, 1955, at Carlinville, Ill, the daughter of Rev. Darrell Warren Dawson and Shirley Evans Dawson.
She was a member of the Marshall Baptist Church, and was a 1974 graduate of Hutsonville High School. Cheryl loved to play bingo and loved the color of pink and her jewelry. The primary love of her life was her family, and she cherished the time she was able to spend with them.
