John Lee Balvin, 54, passed away at 3 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014, at University Hospital in Columbia.
John enjoyed long rides on his motorcycle and afternoons at the shooting range and bartered for almost everything he had. He was a faithful husband, great stepdad and friend to many, especially his best friends, Kevin and Jane Merrill of Pacific.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Balvin; his children, Amber Bruce, Jessica Fulton, Teresa Fulton and Tracy Fulton, all of Columbia; and his two aunts, Judy Peske of St. Louis and Jackie Ogden of Willow Springs. He also left behind his faithful dog of 16 years, Amber.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lynn Balvin of Willow Springs.
