Jamie Blake Pearson 43, of Stigler, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born April 10, 1971 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Wade Pearson and Kathy (McDowell) Pearson.

He grew up in Stigler where he received his education and graduated in the class of 1989. Jamie continued his education at Indian Capital Vo-Tech earning his electrician and heating and air licenses. He began a relationship with Cathy Knott in 1992 and they married on February 18, 2000. He was the owner and operator of Pearson Electric Heat & Air. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting and building race cars. Spending time with friends was fun for him. He adored his grandchildren. He dedicated his life to Christ on February 13, 2014.

Jamie is survived by his wife, Cathy Pearson of the home; two sons, Aaron Pearson and wife Le Andrea of Keefton, Steven Pearson and wife Kati of Stigler; a daughter, Megan Pearson of Stigler; his mother, Cathy Sexton and husband Frank of Stigler; his dad, Wade Pearson and wife Carol of Whitefield; four grandchildren, Strykar, Leland, Aarilynn, Wyatt; two brothers, Stephen Pearson of Henryetta, Greg Jennings of Muskogee; a sister, Jill Frances of Henryetta; grandfather, F.D. Sexton of Checotah; grandmothers, Lula Pearson and Jeannie McDowell of Stigler; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

He is preceded in death by a son, Justin Pearson; father, Larry Jennings; grandparents, C.J. McDowell, Lanny Jennings, Norma Jennings and Arthur Pearson.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, November 24, 2014 at Whitefield Baptist Church with Reverend Tommie Parker officiating. Pallbearers include Aaron Pearson, Steven Pearson, Megan Pearson, Logan Powell, R.T. Powell, B.J. Honeycutt. Burial will follow immediately at Sans Bois Cemetery
