Debra Tverdy Little 25, Longmont, Colorado and formerly of Castleford, died Sunday, May 10 in an automobile accident.
Born August 21, 1961, in Twin Falls, she graduated from Castleford high school in 1979. She graduated from Idaho State University in 1984. She taught school in Kimberly and Jerome. She married Brooks Little on September 6, 1986, in Elko, Nevada.
She was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority, the CSI Symphony, and the National Education Association.
Survivors include her husband, Longmont, Colorado: parents, Ken and June Tverdy, Castleford; three brothers, Scott Tverdy, Buhl, Christopher Tverdy, Boise and Mark Tverdy, Moscow; grandparents Emily Tverdy, Buhl, GrACE AND Ervin Rast and Truman and Gayle Clark, all of Buhl. She was proceeded in death by one grandfather.
Rosary was recite at the Church of Immaculate Conception in Buhl. Mass was celebrated Thursday, May 14, at the church, with Father Perry Dodds officiating.
Organist was Ruth Thornborrow. A duet was sung by Emma Karel and Mary Iverson. Jim Herrett sang "Ave Maria," accompanied by Dennis McCracken.
Pallbearers were James, Mike and Paul Jensen, Tim Tverdy, Mike Miller, and Eric Clar.
Burial and concluding services were in the West End Cemetery.
Farmer chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
The family suggests memorials may be given to the Castleford high school.
