Greg lived a life that most would envy, it was filled with passion for everything he did. His skills hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting kept the freezer packed and his unique culinary skills kept the dinner table full. His magic on the mike and guitar entertained all who had a chance to hear. He never had a shortage of jokes or stories for anyone who would listen. Greg’s greatest passion was family, he will be deeply missed by his wife, Karen “Momma”; his mother, Phyllis; brother, Clyde; sister, Michelle (Joseph); three sons, Joshua, Andrew and Evan; two daughters, Jennifer and Kayla; four grandchildren, Blake, Christian, Hailey, “his favorite fishing buddy” Ryella; along with several nieces, nephews and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ed; and stepparents, Larry Klotz and Dianne Hamilton.
A memorial service took place on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Skinner Funeral Home, Eaton Rapids Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to Karen Hamilton for the Hospice House of Mid-Michigan living tree plaque program.
