He was professor of Spanish and the Chairman of the Foreign Language Department at the Panama Canal College in the Panama Canal Zone, until his retirement in 1990. He is survived by his wife, Ellen; sons, Stephen Rice Peck, Jr. and David Brian Peck of Tampa; and three sisters. National Cremation Society
