Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Cathy S. Mills, age 62, of Twin City, GA, on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, GA.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM in Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Rev. Vera Daniels officiating.
Interment will be in Antioch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday Evening, November 21, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Mills was born in Savannah, Chatham County, and had lived most of her life in Twin City, GA. She worked with Roger Wood and Robbins Meat Packing for a number of years, was employed with Emanuel County School System in the Twin City Elementary School Lunch Room; she was a member of the E.C.I. Band Booster Club. Mrs. Mills was preceded in death by her parents, Lynwood Stroud and Earline Blalock Stroud Mills; a sister, Sharon Youngblood and a brother Clyde Stroud.
Survivors include:
Her Husband: William Eugene Mills of Twin City, GA
Two Daughters: Jennifer Collins (Steven) and Jessica Mills, both of Twin City GA
Two Sons: William C. Mills (Karen) of Metter, GA and Donald E. Mills (Shannon) of Twin City, GA
Three Sisters: Linda Fulmer of Twin City, GA; Laura Womack of Metter, GA; and Patsy Claxton of Swainsboro, GA.
10 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren.
