He was the son of the late Roma and Ima Virginia (Mullins) Holton.
He was preceded in death by eight siblings, Forrest Holton, Scottie Holton, Bobby Holton, Thomas Holton, Rush Holton, Pearl Smith, Mabel Adkins, and Alice Holton.
He was a retired auto worker from General Motors in Lordstown.
He is survived by his two sons, Lyle (Shelley) Holton of Lordstown and William (Roxanna) Holton of Lordstown; and four grandchildren, Tiffany (Robert) Wilson of Columbus, Jaclyn (David) Woodward of Lordstown, Shane (Gina) Holton of Lordstown, and William Holton of Lordstown. He also had four great-grandchildren, Brandon, Trenton, Gage, and Kaitlyn. He is also survived by his siblings, Roy Holton of Youngstown, Homer Holton of Myra, W.Va., Mary Linville of Hamlin, W.Va., Emmie Midkiff of Hamlin, and Carla Dean of Ravenswood, W.Va., and many nieces and nephews.
Interment will be at the Holton Family Cemetery in Hamlin.
